Terms of Service and Conditions
The Free Clinic of Meridian (referred to as us or we) is a non-profit organization. We operate the website www.freeclinicofmeridian.org (the Website).
These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each use you make of the donation payment services provided through the Website.
These Terms and Conditions apply separately to each single donation that you make. Except as provided for in section 6, ‘Monthly Donations’, and unless specified by you, they do not form a contract allowing for future or successive transactions to be set up. By confirming on the Website that you wish to make a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that donation.
(1) The donation services
We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated charitable objectives.
All payments through the Website are to be made by a debit or credit card.
Once you confirm to us through the Website that you wish to proceed with your donation, your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Interfirst Merchant Services, Inc. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation, you authorize Interfirst Merchant Services to request funds from your credit or debit card.
(2) Unauthorized card use
If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.
(4) Information from you
Before we can process a donation, you must provide us with (i) your name, address and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, Interfirst Merchant Services, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of Interfirst Merchant Services’ terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a donation.
We won’t share your personal details with any other third party, other than is set out in our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to the way we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
(5) Refund policy
If you make an error in your donation please contact us by phone at 601-286-5551 or mail at P.O. Box 3724, Meridian, MS 39303 within 14 days and a full refund will be made to you.

These Donation Payment Terms and Conditions will only apply to successive donations made through the Website where you have set up a monthly donation. When you set up a regular donation you will be scheduling a series of donations to be made on the day of the month that you choose until further notice. You agree that these Terms and Conditions will apply to each of the donations in that series.
By confirming that you wish to proceed with a monthly donation you authorize our payment service provider to request funds from your credit or debit card on the day of each month that you set.
To cancel your regular donation please call 601-286-5551.
(7) General We reserve the right to amend these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions at any time.
Patient Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10/6/2026
About Our Messaging Program
The Free Clinic of Meridian uses CareMessage to communicate with patients about appointments, care reminders, health education, and related clinic services.
These terms apply specifically to our Patient Text Messaging Program and are separate from, but complementary to, our Terms of Service. These Patient Messaging Terms and Conditions do not override or modify our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these Patient Messaging Terms and Conditions and our Terms of Service, these Patient Messaging Terms and Conditions apply with respect to your use of our Patient Messaging Program.
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our messaging program— either through patient registration, a web form, or by texting a keyword to our number— you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from The Free Clinic of Meridian.
Participation is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services.
You are responsible for providing an accurate phone number for our Patient Messaging Program, notifying The Free Clinic of Meridian if your number changes, and ensuring you are authorized to receive messages at that number.
Message Types and Frequency
Messages may include:
Appointment reminders and scheduling updates— No more than three reminders per appointment.
Personalized 1-to-1 Messaging — Sent in response to individual requests (e.g.,
rescheduling) or as follow-up from a care team member. Message volume varies based
on your interaction.
Healthcare Reminders & Outreach — Personalized reminders for overdue or preventive
care (e.g., annual wellness visits, screenings). Typically no more than three messages per
clinical area per month; frequency may vary based on your responsiveness.
Message frequency may vary. Recurring messages may be sent based on your care needs, appointments, and engagement.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. The Free Clinic of Meridian does not charge you to participate in this messaging program. However, message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for information about your plan and any charges.
How to Stop Messages
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to the number from which you received our message. Upon our receipt of your opt-out request, you will receive a final confirmation text with instructions on how to opt back in if the action was performed in error. To opt back in to resume receiving messages, reply START from the number that opted out.
Opting out removes you from all communications from our Patient Messaging Program, including appointment reminders. Our staff may not make direct phone calls in lieu of automated appointment reminders. Opting out will not affect the clinical care you receive at our organization.
Help and Support
Reply HELP to the number that sent the message, or contact us:
Phone: 601-286-5551
Email: freeclinicofmeridian@gmail.com
Website: https://www.freeclinicofmeridian.com/
Do not use text messaging to request urgent care, report urgent symptoms, or send information that requires an immediate response. Replies other than STOP, START, HELP, or other supported keywords may not be reviewed by us. Text messages are not monitored in real time and should not be used for emergencies, urgent medical concerns, or other time-sensitive matters.
For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For other medical concerns, call the clinic directly.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Your personal information, including your phone number and messaging opt-in data, is used solely to operate this Patient Messaging Program.
Mobile information and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For full details on how your information is collected, used, and protected, please review our Messaging Privacy Policy
For more information, see the Patient Text Messaging Privacy section of our Privacy Policy:
Carrier Disclaimer
While The Free Clinic of Meridian makes every effort to deliver messages in a timely manner, delivery is not guaranteed. To deliver text messages to you, we rely on third-party messaging providers and mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon). We are not liable to you or any other person for any services provided by such third-party messaging providers and mobile carriers.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Patient Messaging Terms and Conditions as our program, technology, or applicable requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued participation in our Patient Messaging Program following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, consistent with applicable federal law.
